University of Toronto Campus Farm, Scarborough, ON

SpruceLab worked closely with SHIFT Landscape Architects and Hoffmann Hayes on the UTS Campus Farm project, specifically providing Indigenous engagement and design services. There is growing interest in the UTS Campus Farm from across the University community, and this is one of the early implementation projects identified in the June 2022 UTS Landscape + Public Realm Master Plan (by DTAH, with Jane Hayes). Building on the knowledge of community members across the UTS campus, the goal is to transform the site into a signature project to highlight innovative urban development and regenerative agricultural practices through the delivery of land-based learning opportunities.
