Urban Minds, Board of Advisors

Sheila is on the Board of Advisors for Urban Minds, a Canadian non-profit organization with a mission to create new ways for youth to participate in city building. The vision is to transform youth engagement for city-building projects into an inspiring journey where youth see themselves as capable, active co-creators. Urban Minds helps municipalities and civic organizations to better connect with youth and design youth-friendly spaces, programs, and services (e.g. 1UP Youth City Builders Program, with high school students leading their own community design-build projects and co-design spaces with our clients and partners).
