Tree Medicine + Healing Gardens

Diana Beresford-Kroeger screened her film ‘Call of the Forest, the Forgotten Wisdom of Trees’ on the opening night of the symposium. The following day she conducted a medicine walk at Toronto’s High Park, to raise awareness of the health benefits of trees as plant medicine. This walk was also the official beginning of the ‘healing garden’ initiatives that she had previously requested Sheila to champion (currently underway). This event was well attended and also supported by Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, and the City of Toronto.
