Waterloo Cenotaph

Dedicated to 14 fallen World War I, WWII, and Korean War soliders (installed in 1957), this 5.5m high granite cenotaph was relocated to Memorial Park in 1993, adjacent to Laurel Cr. and in a prominent position in the Waterloo Peach Grove adjacent to Waterloo City Hall.

While a landscape designer with Parks Services, City of Waterloo, Sheila was responsible for the design of the relocation site for the Cenotaph, and the logistics involved with this sensitive community project (working closely with Barb Magee-Turner and Karen Anderson).
