Burlington Civic Square

SpruceLab is working alongside The MBTW Group to reimagine the City of Burlington’s Civic Square at City Hall. The project will involve a redesign of the civic plaza area, creation of a new City Hall building entrance and improvements to the Brant Street and Elgin Street Streetscapes. The design will focus on improvements that contribute to a healthier and more vibrant downtown area by increasing accessibility, functionality and enhancing character, and will use the revitalization of the Square to better support the community and local downtown businesses. This effort includes functional servicing, landscape and architectural improvements.

SpruceLab will be supporting the landscape architectural design for the project, and is responsible for leading First Nations consultation, Indigenous engagement, and community engagement.
